Real People. Real Dedication. Real Impact.

At Sycamore Point Academy, we’re not a big corporation. We’re a tight-knit team of behavior professionals who believe that doing meaningful work starts with knowing your why and sticking to it.
We’re two BCBAs and one experienced RBT who’ve been in this field long enough to know what works, what burns people out, and what really makes a difference. We’ve all done the job from the bottom up. We've wiped tables, written treatment plans, ran sessions, answered phones, and built relationships one kid and one family at a time.
More than anything, we’re down-to-earth, creative people who care deeply about kids, staff, and doing things the right way, even when it’s the harder way.

We left our previous jobs because we were craving something different — something smaller, more intentional, and honestly, something that just felt more like us. We didn’t want to be part of a system that was stretched too thin or focused on doing more at the expense of doing it well.
We wanted to slow things down, take our time, and build real connections with the kids and families we serve. We wanted a space where we could show up fully, do good work, and actually feel proud of what we were building — not just professionally, but personally too.
Sycamore Point is that space. It’s the kind of place we always wished existed — so we decided to create it ourselves.

Science is powerful. We fell in love with precision teaching because it works. We use celeration charts, fluency-based instruction, and evidence-based practices with intention.
AAC isn’t an add-on. We’ve worked with dozens of AAC users, and we believe in treating communication like the lifeline it is.
Kids aren’t projects. They’re people—with preferences, humor, opinions, and stories that deserve respect.
We think differently. If it’s been done the same way for 10 years, we’ll probably ask why—and try something better.

At Sycamore Point Academy, we believe real change happens when science meets respect.
We provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services that are grounded in evidence-based practices, guided by data, and delivered with humanity. Our approach is built on the belief that behavioral support should never be one-size-fits-all, and that progress isn’t just about meeting goals—it’s about doing so with dignity, joy, and buy-in from the learner.

Precision Teaching
We use precision teaching and celeration charting to track learning in real time. It’s not about just dropping dots—it’s about helping each child move at their own pace, accelerate when ready, and celebrate every gain along the way. Our team uses data to make decisions, but we always pair it with clinical judgment and compassion.
Assent and Consent Matter
We are committed to assent-based practices, meaning we actively seek signs that our learners are willing, engaged participants in the process. We also believe families deserve transparency, choice, and true informed consent at every stage of service.
